Why include whānau?
Speaking from my own experience, twice others had to reach out to Specialists so I could get the help I needed – I was not aware.
Our whānau observe our behaviours, they notice when we change. Connected Communities gives this group more knowledge and awareness of what to look for and how to address those concerns safely to get the help that’s needed.
-
Who participates the workshops?
Your employee’s whānau.
Your employee’s can invite 1-3 whānau members to participate in the workshops.
Initially these workshops are for your employee’s whānau, and once wellbeing is more embedded within the home environment – we can then do the workshops with your employees as well.
-
What topics are covered?
Whānau decide.
These workshops are tailored to the topics and needs your whānau have identified.
Designed with mental health professionals, it is anticipated that each workshop would cover one to two topics per session.
